Arzum Başaran

Arzum Başaran is an experienced executive specializing in capital markets, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. She most recently served as the General Manager and a Member of the Board of Directors of Morgan Stanley Menkul Değerler A.Ş., where she was responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, regulatory relations, and overall management.

Prior to this role, she held positions at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, Anel Group and Morgan Stanley Menkul Degerler A.S., gaining extensive expertise in financial regulation, internal audit, and compliance frameworks. Her professional background reflects a combination of legal insight, managerial leadership, and a deep understanding of the Turkish capital markets.

Ms. Başaran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Boğaziçi University, an MBA from Miami University, and a Law degree from Doğuş University. She is a licensed attorney, a Certified Public Accountant, and holds the Capital Markets Activities Level 3 License issued by the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
