Mustafa Kaan Akalın graduated from Yaşar University Faculty of Law and was admitted to the Izmir Bar Association. He earned his master’s degree at Dokuz Eylül University with a thesis titled “Processing of Personal Data in Terms of Abuse of Dominant Position in Competition Law”. Having engaged in various boutique and leading full-service law firms, he worked as a solo practitioner before joining Özay Law Firm in 2024.

Mustafa Kaan Akalın has experience mainly in litigation & dispute resolution areas where he focuses on the fields of Real Estate and Construction Law, Contracts and Rental Law, Competition Law, Administrative Law, Personal Data Protection Law and Commercial Law. Apart from litigation and dispute resolution areas, he has been involved in numerous merger and acquisition projects for due diligence analysis in the scope of Real Estate and Construction Law and compliance projects regarding Personal Data Protection Law.
